System Design

A good system design is the key to the best water system the client could wish for.

Before the design, we make a thorough study of the client needs, constraints, the water quality, the surrounding environment and more. The analyses of all this information will dictate the direction to the most suitable water system solution.

There are no two projects that are the same. This is why we invest so much in the system design and do not take anything for granted.
Examples for some of the parameters:

Technical:

  • Amount of water to be treated
  • Current water quality
  • Climate
  • Power supply

Client Preferences:

  • Time schedule
  • Budget
  • Maintenance personal

There are many more and we do not miss out on any one of them during the design process.

Engineering

OKiana runs its projects under stringent project management guidelines. This is done in collaboration with our clients to ensure successful project outcomes.

Our engineering team works closely with the customer and the project from conception through to the entire installation and start-up phase. Our multi-disciplined expertise is in process engineering, electrical engineering and controls, and our highly qualified mechanical engineers are experienced in the following software: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Bentley. Our high proficiency is what sets OKiana apart as the best in the class.

Our process from design to fabrication and installation is rigorous and enables us to apply critical inspection standards to the final product. In the real world, failures can occur. Some water treatment systems are highly complicated. However, OKiana stands behind and guarantees its products and will endeavor to prevent problems, When needed, Okiana remedies any problems to the customer’s complete satisfaction.

Project Process

The design process is detailed and comprehensive, encompassing the entire project. The outcome of the design process is 3D drawings, manufacturing drawings and a schedule of specifications and procurements. Following design, our procurement and fabrication processes are carried out almost in parallel. The third phase is assembly of the system as a functional plant. At the assembly site the system undergoes a preliminary “dry” test (without water). This simulation test checks the system’s functionality. Finally, the plant is re-assembled on site by specialist team members in charge of providing the complete working system to the client. All the project steps are managed by a dedicated project co-ordinator to ensure responsibility for efficient delivery of the project and the elimination of potential problems.

Pilot Systems

In some cases, a new technology may not be the right way to solve a problem.  When this is so, a pilot system will provide the opportunity to test a unique technology and processes with minimal expense and risk.  The scaled system can be installed and evaluated for performance on the client’s site.

 Online Worldwide Monitoring

OKiana has the technology to provide its customers with online monitoring. This advanced technology allows our customers to:

  • Remotely monitor the plant’s performance
  • Receive notifications and alerts if the process does not perform according to specification
  • Trend quality data and forecast possible maintenance issues
